In addition to his abstract works, Fritz Riedl created numerous watercolors of landscapes and portraits. With confident brushwork and a refined sense of color, he captured impressions of journeys, places, and people. The watercolors reveal a spontaneous and lively side of his artistic work while also documenting his keen powers of observation.
